Four steps, ten working days, and an honest answer.
We admit throughout the year wherever there is space. The registration fee is D5,000, payable with the form, and it is not refundable whatever the outcome.

Send the application form
Download it from this page, collect it from the admissions office, or ask us to email it. It asks for the child's details, two previous school reports, a birth certificate and a passport photograph.
The D5,000 registration fee goes with the form. It covers the assessment and the administration and is not returned if we cannot offer a place.

Assessment and a conversation
Every applicant from Year 1 upwards sits a short assessment in English and mathematics. It takes about ninety minutes and is not something to revise for; we are looking at where a child is, not at whether they can be coached.
Nursery and Reception places are offered without assessment. The family then meets the head of the relevant school for half an hour.

A written decision within ten working days
We confirm in writing. If we cannot offer a place we say why, and if it is a matter of timing rather than the child we say that too and put you on the list.

Accepting
The first term's fees are due within twenty one days of the offer to hold the place. After that the place is released to the next family on the list. Uniform is ordered from the school shop at the same time.
Waiting lists, honestly.
Three year groups are consistently oversubscribed: Reception, Year 7 and Year 12. For those we advise applying a full academic year ahead. A place on the list costs nothing beyond the registration fee already paid, and we will tell you where you are on it if you ring and ask.
Every other year group normally has space, and often a good deal of it. Movement is constant here because families are posted in and out, so a group that is full in March may have three places in June.

We do not have a means tested bursary fund. We would like one and we are honest that we do not, rather than implying otherwise and asking families to apply for something that does not exist.
